Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Free summer lunches will be available for all children ages 18 and under from June 1 through July 23, Monday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at designated schools throughout the district. Meals are free regardless of income or enrollment, and no application or registration is required. Lunches must be eaten in the school cafeteria. Adult meals are available for $4.30, and extra milk costs $0.50. The program will be closed on June 15 and July 6. Participating schools are located in the following cities: Bountiful, Clearfield, Centerville, Sunset, and Layton.

America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.
Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.
Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.
Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.
You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.
Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

Hello Lincoln families, We would like to remind you of our upcoming winter break. School will be dismissed early on Friday, December 19th at 1:30 PM. Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, January 6th.
Just a reminder school is out November 26-28. We can't wait to see everyone again on December 1st!

Lincoln is starting a new monthly support meeting for families - Coca Cola & Conversations! Come by for help with MyDSD, free and reduced lunch applications, technology help, or anything in between! Spanish interpretation available! Come by Thursday, August 28th in the Lincoln Elementary library from 6-7pm, enjoy a Coke (or your favorite drink - we will have a variety to choose from!) and get help with the things you need most!
This gathering is for the adults in the family so we can focus on helping you! Please try to leave students with care at home so you can have our full attention for the hour!
